The Monnet XO (former XO Prestige) Cognac is a subtle blend that combines both complexity and delicacy. The eaux-de-vie that make up the Cognac mainly come from the terroirs of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, the two most prestigious crus of the Cognac region, which contrast elegantly with the small proportion of eau-de-vie in this Cognac that comes from the Fins Bois crus.

Monnet XO Cognac is revealed in a wide-set simple decanter design with embellished glasswork which gives the elusion of crashing waves. The label and branding feature navy blue accents, while the presentation sleeve illustrates a blown-up version of the brand’s impressive logo of a fire breathing dragon. Just like the Cognac it beholds, the presentation of this fine Cognac is bright, audacious and full of character. Unique to the other bottles in Monnet’s collection, XO is finished with a golden bottle stopper, making it all the more refined with an extra finishing touch – it is certainly a bottle that deserves to be presented out on display, rather than locked away in a cabinet.
