Description
A de Fussigny Supérieur Fine Champagne Cognac: the Superior Standard in VSOP
The A de Fussigny Supérieur Fine Champagne Cognac is a soft and varied VSOP containing eaux-de-vie from the Petite and Grande Champagne crus. Aged for a minimum of four years in traditional Limousin oak casks, this stunning Cognac exemplifies the precision, pride and proficiency of the house of A de Fussigny, showcasing the superior standard of Fine Champagne.
Located on the banks of the Charente river, this estate’s distillery and cellars date back to 1814, rich in a history of gabarres passing by on barges, transporting and trading the precious eaux-de-vie and wine that render this region famous. Their 200-year-old cellars allow the maturation process to take place in a stable humid environment, offering a unique and high quality to every Cognac that A De Fussigny produce.
The Supérieur Fine Champagne is a celebration of both its region and its VSOP age, the particular floral notes produced by the Fine Champagne terroirs are lifted with flavors of candied fruits, and its delicate aging process has resulted in subtle notes of wood as well as buttery notes of pastry. If you’re looking for a high-quality VSOP with a reasonable price tag, this is the one to go for.

Presentation of the Bottle
This 750ml release is presented in a unique hip flask-shaped bottle, with all the signature hallmarks of an A de Fussigny Cognac, including the signature block writing and coat of arms: a mythical lion-like creature that reinforces A de Fussigny’s legendary status. The bottle also features a shiny silver stopper.
How to Enjoy
This VSOP is pretty versatile and can, of course, be enjoyed neat or over ice. Its buttery pastry and candied fruit notes would follow a dessert course nicely while its lighter floral aromas would also make it the ideal spirit base for a summer cocktail.
